Got Talent? Don’t Have Talent? Do something for ICF Open Mic Night =)

Hello all! Our annual Open Mic Night is coming up, so clear your calendars and start preparing!

Here’s a little bit about Open Mic Night..

Purpose: To use your talents and abilities to glorify our God.
What can I do?: Almost anything! Sing, dance, act, display artwork, recite poetry…use your imagination!
Are the acts screened?: Yes, please email icf.uiuc@gmail.com by March 2nd with a rough idea of what you will be performing. You will then be contacted to set up a time to go over your act.

Open Mic Details:
Dress: Indian attire or business casual
When: SUNDAY March 9, 7:30pm
Where: TBA—Check your e-mails

Don’t be shy, this is a great opportunity to dust of old talents, uncover new ones, and conglomerate your abilities
Even if you do not plan on performing, join us for an evening that is sure to be a blessing!

Upper Room-SATURDAY February 16

Hey Everyone!
Our first Upper Room for the semester is coming up, NOTE THE DATE CHANGE, IT WILL BE on SATURDAY not Sunday!!   It’ll be a special Valentine’s Day Weekend themed Upper Room, so get excited! =) There’s always something to learn about God and each other so come out and fellowship with ICF. Here are the details:

 

WHAT: The Upper Room

WHEN: SATURDAY February 16 at 5pm

School is getting crazy but we all need some time to restore ourselves in the Lord and with each other through fellowship.  If you have any questions/concerns contact your fig leader or e-mail us back at icf.uiuc@gmail.com!  Hope to see you Saturday =)

Superbowl Sunday is just around the corner as the Patriots and Giants get ready to see who brings home this year’s win and we were thinking, what a better way to celebrate this occasion that with our ICF Family!  And, if watching the game seems like something you can do in your own home, what if it was watched through an LCD PROJECTOR PROVIDING THE BEST VIEWING ABILITY IN THE CHAMPAIGN-URBANA AREA!! And if that isn’t enough,we’ll have FOOD, fun and the NINTENDO WII to entertain us during halftime and on the side–HOW DOES A WII BOXING TOURNAMENT SOUND!!!  COME ONE, COME ALL! =)

WHEN: Sunday, February 3 at 4:45pm (a little before kickoff to grab food and find your best seat in the house=)) 

WHERE: Tony and Marilyn’s House at 708 Luria Lane, Champaign, IL

WHY:  Big Screen, DELICIOUS PIZZA AND DESSERTS, and the WII??–you should be asking, “WHY NOT?!”
